peter: Thanks for the insights. I own this thing in a range from the 20's to the high 30's as it looked like they were in the right area re: Optical data transfer to mass storage.
But I see what you mean regarding their float. People often ask why companies bother to split and this is a prime example- in short they need divisibility and liquidity. That is why all these mid and micro cap stocks suffer as they have so little firm sponsorship. On the other hand there is the benefit that these companies are great high premium acquistion candidates. My only concern in situations like this is that the companies will run out of cash before they get the sponsorship and have to refinance.

I will also take your advice on this idu thing. I am a long term investor but often I run in and out of the waters before immersing myself for the long haul. RFMD,INPH,GIC,BRCM,NXTL,SSFT,GALT,ORCT,VVVI are some of my other holdings JFD
