Colleen,

To tell the truth, I am not even surprised anymore by the number of times I see someone who sets out to make a mockery of Christianity by book or whatever, end up just justifying it.

How about a tune written by Dennis Jernigan for the night?

When the night is falling,
And the day is done.
I can hear you calling,
Come! I will come
While you sing over me.

When the night surrounds me,
All my dreams undone.
I can hear you calling,
Come! I will come
While you sing over me.

When the night
Would hide my way
I will listen until
I hear you say;

How I love you,
Child I love you.
How I love you,
Child I love you,

How I love you
How I love you.

When this life is over,
and the race is run.
I will hear you calling
Come! I will come, while
You sing over me.

Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Hallelujah!!

Dear C Kahn. Why is it that it is so difficult for some people to see a simple truth? Gee. That's exactly what I was wondering.

Untill you have read a little church history for yourself, I suggest ever so kindly, that you don't know what the heck you are calling an ovation for.

Again. I suggest a starter of Foxes Book of Martyrs.
