<<contact "wall street access/bt alex brown" they are options specialist>>

Please provide additional details, either through post or PM. I'm in the process of moving one account from Waterhouse to Ameritrade due to excessive options commissions at Waterhouse, but would consider moving others there. I also use Brown&Co, but after several problems with various brokerage firms over the last 15 years, I like to maintain at least two.

TIA,

Cooters

You mentioned dbc so I will assume that you have eSignal. Just in case you do not know and if you do, then maybe someone else on the board would be interested to know. eSignal is offering real time streaming quotes on options. You can see the spread as it changes. I did have to upgrade to 1000 symbols in order to have the leeps, including 2002 streaming. This has been such a pleasure to use and I don't feel it is expensive when you can save/make quite a bit of money when you have everything on one page to compare which option is best for you. I just feel it gives you a one up. The cost for 1000 symbols (you need this for option chains) is somewhere around 340 a month. Also includes NASD streaming after hours.

This is not a paid advertisement I am just trying to inform you of what I believe is a new tool.

OT Edamo, what is a "block trade" as it applies to options?

TIA,
