Not that you need any more trouble than you already have, but it may be in your best interest to keep a contemporaneous record of who said, did, or did not do what and when.

Infections HURT!! When I cut the tendon in my hand a couple of years ago, the pain was tolerable until an infection flared up... Then things got really...MADDENING!!! My hand was in a cast, so I couldn't see what was happening, but I sure knew there was something wrong... Eeekk!! I got so wild with pain one afternoon that I busted the cast off and saw that my hand was infected... Ended up at emergency again... Anyhow, the infection hurt about 10 times more than the injury..

Hey, Ish, please forgive me if I am stepping on your toes, but you aren't allowed to practice law without a license. Nor medicine without a license, either. As far as I can see, all you are licensed to be here is a husband. Which you seem to be doing a pretty good job of. Forget lawsuits, they can't cure anyone, all they can do is get money, and money isn't what you need right now. A good relationship with your wife's doctor is what you need.

The most important thing is that your wife gets the best medical care possible. If she does have a bone infection, Cipro, as Lather told you, is a good choice. There are some other things if it turns out to be a difficult case, hyperbaric oxygen looks interesting, but they save it for the bad cases.

If it gets bad, they may go in and do further surgery on her bones, and may consider putting antibiotic paste into the bone.

Or this could be a simple case.

It's too early to tell.

It sounds to me like she has good doctors, and you need more rest.
