Mike, As companies, I like them too, especially Bea. A tsunami of EAI development is about to strike as middle adopter companies move to the Web. Bea's Web Logic Enterprise (along with IBM's Websphere) is best positioned in that market. And I'm happy to say that I still own some Bea stock (I sold some at 38, which I considered overvalued). I will probably sell this soon -- how do you estimate the "utterly ridiculous" value at which you sell tulips?

MB, I thought you might like to read this article in which Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com shares his insights on Warren Buffet and dotcomania. pathfinder.com I especially liked his quote about AMZN: " "We still have the opportunity to be a footnote in the e-commerce industry," he says.". Mike Can't we all just get along?.. Here's an interesting take on that theme.-g- "Bush, in his first major foreign policy speech, said on Friday he would check Chinese military aggression by expanding the missile defenses of U.S. allies in Asia." This, the same fellow who hasn't read a book in five years. Lock, and load! I guess that sword cuts both ways.. that policy seems to have worked against Russia, I wish we could elect someone who could do it another way.-g- wiz
