SAVED BY MY FALSE BOOBS
By NICK PARKER

MODEL Jayne Pickering told yesterday how she cheated death when a bullet "bounced" off one of her breast implants.Stunning Jayne, 27, was accidentally shot in a brawl at a crowded nightclub.
The .45 calibre bullet ricocheted off a wall, tore through her left breast - flinging her across the room - and embedded itself in another wall. Her rubbery gel implant deflected the bullet so that it passed across the front of her breast instead of entering her torso and hitting vital organs. Doctors say it saved her life. Jayne, a swimsuit model and actress who paid £3,000 for the boob job, told of her
miracle escape at the club in Sydney, Australia.

She said: "I heard a bang and knew it was a gunshot. I was flung across the room and all I can remember was my ears ringing and feeling dizzy.
"I put my hand to my stomach. It was wet and then I looked down and there was all this blood."
The bullet entered Jayne's left breast close to her underarm, flew parallel to the implant and came out the other side - missing more sensitive muscle and tissue.
Jayne went on: "Police told me the type of bullet is a known cop-killer because it goes right through bullet-proof vests. I still have nightmares about it."
The blonde, from Bondi Beach, was caught up in the shooting while celebrating reaching the final of a beauty contest. The gunman was later arrested and charged.
Jayne is due to have surgery to repair scars left by the entry and exit wounds but will resume her career.
She is also suing the club in the city's bustling Oxford Street for negligence for allowing the gun to get through security checks.
Jayne said: "The miracle for me was that my implants are cohesive gel.
"If you can imagine the consistency of Turkish delight when you cut it, it doesn't leak, deflate or fall apart.
"I believe if it wasn't for my breast implants I would not be alive now. It's destiny. I believe I wasn't meant to die that night.
"The angels were looking after me, so I have another turn at life and I'm going to make the most of it."
