ST SYSTEMS? SHARES TO TRADE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS;
NEW TRADING SYMBOL ?SYT?
Vancouver, B.C., December 29, 1999 ó ST Systems Corp. today announced that, effective
January 4, 2000, the Company?s shares will cease trading in US dollars and begin trading in Canadian
dollars. To reflect the change in trading currency, the Company?s trading symbol will be changed from
?SYT.U? to ?SYT?, also effective January 4. These changes are in response to investor confusion
created by ST?s unusual symbol, which denotes US currency, and the assumption that a stock listed on a
Canadian exchange would trade in Canadian dollars.
Reporting of financial results will also shift to Canadian dollars for the first quarter of 2000 (the three
months ending March 31, 2000). However, ST will report its 1999 full-year and fourth-quarter results in
US dollars for consistency with the earlier quarters of 1999.
ST Systems, through its subsidiaries Sable Technologies and Documentor Sciences, provides
experienced, professional systems-integration services, addressing the POS and back-office needs of
both table-service and quick-service restaurants. With its deserved reputation for 24-hour service and
customer loyalty, ST Systems is favorably positioned for continued growth and profitability into the new
millennium.
Shares of ST Systems trade on the Canadian Venture Exchange under the symbol ?SYT.U?, until
January 4 when the symbol becomes ?SYT?. U.S. SEC exemption: 12g3-2(b)82-4094.
