Sorry Swami, your information is not quite correct.

I have Schwab and have received E-mails almost every day telling me when their "auto" route is down and when it is working. I am not using PC Quote due to the price. I tried their free offer for a week and found it "AWKWARD" I love SWatch due to their "SIMPLICITY". I f i remember correctly Schwab's comm. is based on Dollar amount of trade even if you have PCQUOTES. I think you are right if your 1000 shares are less than 39 dollars each.

My rating for brokerages from personal experience:

E*TRADE... the worst of all. execution nil ....market sell buy could take 25 minutes or an HOUR!!!!!

TD...not bad but not ideal for daytrading...system down far too many times and handled by newbies out of "Stock school" Free RTQ's unlimited!!!

Scotia Online...Improving and actually better than TD now..orders are processed at leisure!! i have special agreement with them on commissions.

DATEK....fast not reliable...cheap you get what you pay for

National bank....below average.. ...cheap

PCQUOTES i will be tempted if they reduce their price per month to $100

Best regards
THE Swami
