Steve, I was in the same call option quandry last Friday. Bit the bullet and close my RFMD call position by paying up $17K. If I hold the stock for the next 30 days and not writing any short call position within the next 30 days, I have a 17K cap gain tax reduction this year. I let MTSN be called though. Will not write RFMD call again. Will hold it for at least another year and pay LT cap gain. This company is as good a QCOM play as any out there from the semi standpoint. CNXT is more diversified but will grow in the same pace for now and less next year versus RFMD when its new fab comes on line.

TXCC survived the call cut and is showing some strength in a day of lackluster trading except for BRCM. This rocket is on the second upshot phase now after it moved above $150 consolidation band.

GALT is a joke and should be avoided until it can show its progress in the WAN space.

BBY - I mentioned about this a week ago and with Thanksgiving just a few days away, I'm looking for analyst upgrade in sync with the spirit of the shopping season and BBY will be a beneficiary. The base appears to be in place and $60 is two weeks away IMO.
