RE: kemble, this one's for you. pathfinder.com Reading this Fortune article over a few times you begin to wonder how intelligent some of Michael's critics really are....You know where do we want this guy...On the golf course being interviewed? Or would we rather have him traveling mega miles having thousands of CEO's and CIO's drooling over his speeches...Knowing that dealing their future to DELL can save them hundreds of millions? Greg mentioned the other day that investors still foresee DELL as a PC company...One of the first things I learned four years ago was to do my homework...For well over seven months now I have been reading of this turn on a dime...DELL is anything but a PC manufacturer...As Sig has called it...DELL is a smaller version of IBM (at least right now :o).. ) with capabilities that IBM wishes they had...Future profits that will far exceed all the others due largely to DELL's unstoppable model that is so efficient the other manufacturers' costs are twice what DELL's are...For quite sometime now DELL has been turning and changing their $20B+ company in anticipation of becoming anything but a box maker...Virtually every aspect of their future is being transformed... "THE INTERNET IS AT THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING WE ARE DOING"...Day after day I find the proof of this in announcements they have been making...Maybe some folks will read this article and wake up...IMO this article holds many "clues" to DELL's future... For those that haven't invested in DELL thinking it's run is over...Or those that have left...If ya left you better get back in...No one can afford NOT to do business with DELL...DELL is ecommerce...The others wish they had DELL's record to tout...DELL is the real deal...
