Koanhead: Thanks for responding.

I have been accumulating V.EUK since Kaiser recommended it in his 1997 bottom fishing report. He dropped it from his list in 1999. The main reason I bought into Eureka resources was the name. I wanted to yell out EUREKA when I made a killing on it. Maybe I'll get a chance soon...

Actually, the reason why I started buying V.EUK was because of its structure. (When I started buying, there were very few companies around with good structure. Now they are a dime a dozen - just look at the NP and you'll see all the stocks that have consolidated in the last year.) The key principal, Jack O'neill, owns just under 70% of the 10 million fully diluted shares outstanding. I have talked to Mr.O'neill periodically to get updates on the company and gather that his relatives and other officers of the company own a sizable portion of the shares as well. I would guess that the float is around 2MM to 3MM shares. Therefore, I consider last week's 69.9M shares traded as significant volume for this stock. (For comparison sake, EUK only traded 270K shares in 1998.)

For more info, I would suggest you go over to www.canspecresearch.com and check out Kaiser's trackers on O'neill and EUK.

Right now, I understand that the company has acquired a grassroots VMS property in BC. The company is supposedly defining drill targets and will either fund the program itself or look for a JV with a major. Mr.O'neill has deep pockets and has funded the entire program himself up to this point. You can tell that he strongly believes in the property and he refuses to dilute his share of the company at cheap prices. You can try to call him at 1-604-608-6154 to get an update but he is difficult to get hold of.

If you do get in touch with him, he is not likely to say much - you will however be able to tell he is very excited. This, too me is the biggest indicator that something good is about to happen. Why? Because I have called him every couple of months for the last couple of years for an update. And too be honest, he never showed any interest in Eureka. Now that is changing.

I think I've lost my point. I'll stop blabbering. Bottom line -- I like the share structure and the fact that it is moving up on good volume. Something is up and I can't wait 'til it trades 100,000 in a single day. Now that will be momo.

Don't listen to me though. I'm a novice investor.
