Could someone give me their opinion on Preferred Trade? I am especially interested in knowing how it compares to Cyber or the RealTick brokers. I am not really an "active" trader, but my method requires that when I buy a stock I can get my trade entered quickly and get near instant execution and confirmation. Are they as fast as other systems? Does it have any features for automating order entry? What advantages does the Q-charts compatibility give? Thanks for your help.
A.C.

jebj asks "1- Why, when there are problems, does your "free" data work and the "we pay for" does not?"

The LiveCharts java applet chart server is located on the same LAN as the Continuum Servers that you are connecting to with QCharts. When you are having trouble connecting to our server over the internet chances are that the Livecharts charts servers won't have this same problem because that connection is on the LAN. And you are able to get data on that connection to our web server because it takes much less powerful a connection to power one small little chart and ten quote updates than it does to power QCharts with unlimited numbers of charts and symbols.

You should realize that your QCharts account gives you access to the real-time version of livecharts. this makes for a good backup for you in case you are having trouble.

I don't understand the question, actually. But probably not.

jebj,

Regarding, "- Do you intend to give us - and if so, when - access to pre/post data feeds into the full program and not just L2 and T&S?"...

I assume that you want to display stock charts pre and post market. One workaround is to use the Island version of the stock and set your chart to "All Sessions". When you enter a stock symbol, in the "Symbol" box in the upper left, it is converted to "NASDAQ:<symbol>". I.e., "MSFT" becomes "NASDAQ:MSFT". Try the Island version. E.g., "ISLD:MSFT". Now notice that you are charting the stocks trading on Island.

This is what I do pre-market. Works great!

Regards,

Dan.
