In case anyone is wondering, I am completely with Roedy on this one. Unmaintainable code is safe code. Anyone who thinks they can maintain the stuff I write had better think twice. My job is so secure it's scary. P. Translation: Roedy Green is a wicked humorist. Canadian Mind Products was originally called (according to him) Consolidated Moose Pasture, but he changed the name when somebody at BYTE asked him what "CMP" stood for. We need more like him in this industry: it takes intelligence to distill the dross of many hours of program maintainance work (Software Janitorial Services TM) into as funny an article as this.
