I think it just pertains to daytraders who belong to a DT group where They pay a daily fee to use a computer. One company was shut down this week because one trader complained He lost 600k in one trade. When the sec investigated it out found out group of traders had lost 2.2 million so They shut them down. Now the traders had their accts. frozen and don't have access to their cash or stocks. That is why I would never sign up with one of those groups.
