RE: Region by region promotion. Keep in mind that Palm Beach is the very upper scale of the market--early adopters, higher margins. This makes perfect sense. I would be willing to bet that the stores around Rodeo drive, Potomac, MD, etc., are also promoting IPG/EPG equipped TVs this season. Can anyone have a look? Consumer products marketing of stylish or new high-end innovations begin at the high end of the consumer market where the margins and rates of adoption are high. Then the products are further discounted and appear in mid range stores, then the mass market stores.
