Myron

You mention "... on the weekly chart, one would have bought IFLO in ..." Is there a rule of thumb on when to look at weekly vice daily charts? Thanks.

Dwane

Myron, I find the 5d/9d/18d very interesting. I generally use Dougs' favorite stoch, but not being able to watch the market until 2:45 can't play the volumn angle, so I add my own parameters to enter. I put some that can't quite make the hurdle on watch. POSO (which I missed)and CLST (which I didn't enter till 11/16) would have both given nice signals, and great entry points. I have been looking for a way to catch these returners, and will be putting in a little study time. I have been accumulating a little PSTA, and noticed it came "alive" Friday. Nothing like a real life case study. Although IFLO would have worked out, have you looked at many stocks under $5. CYBR may be going somewhere soon, but would have beaten a trader up by now. <gg>

Hi Myron:

I have been following the TA advice you posted in post # 17473 for the last couple of weeks and am intrigued. But I am also perplexed in that I am not sure that I understand the "reverse" part. i.e. the "alert to sell" and "sell" signals.

Does this mean when the 5 crosses the 9 and the 9 crosses the 18 on the way DOWN? I assume that is the case.

Of the stocks that I have followed using this it certainly seems to work for the buy part but I get a little lost on the sell.

Could you please clarify this for me? Talk to me like I am a five year old as I am still (despite many hours)very much a beginner.

Many thanks in advance.
