You are right. To the extent he has a resource problem the only way a new chip and board will help is if they go into a new computer and he splits the programs he is using to two computers. I forget if he was using Win9x or NT. If he is using Win9x, I wonder if switching to NT would help.

I use to see occasional resource problems when I used Win95. I never see them since I switched totally to NT on my main system.
