Based on all this info, I changed all my investment plans for Monday (this morning I was contemplating of trading my AMD stock on Monday - sell and buy it back at lower price - which now, seems like a pretty bad idea). Two different sources have confirmed that all current Slot A motherboards will have no problems with the different voltages that the .18 æ Athlon will require. The Athlon card draws 2.5 V from the motherboard and then devides it down internally to the specified core voltage.
