Lucent has developed some dynamite enabling tech for fiberoptic multiplexing... I believe it increases to 250 separate freqs, more than quadrupling the previous number on thick fiber they have announced broadband insight only infrared wireless short connection (for future?)... for overcoming obstacles from nature and urban settings they have at least announced GSM packetswitch products (for future?)... offers extended life to GSM so that it can play in the packetswitch network world sure there is more... maybe less available now than meets the eye... doubt it is vapor though am I missing anything or got anything wrong? / Jim
