Our best bet for a bowl is probably the Outback.

You are right, the team did not embarrass itself ala 1997, but that is what makes this year all the more disappointing. So close to being a top tier team, but unsuccessful in the end. 9-3 does not sound or look too bad, but after a 9-0 start the coaching staff has to be asking itself what items in their systems and preparation lead to 3 straight losses to end the season. Joe will adapt.

Suppose I'm a Citrus or Outback Bowl chairman, and I have the choice between Penn State, with its reputation and national following, a household name of a head coach, and some of the most talked about players in the country on its defense; or the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
