Hi LK, I play surging stocks with gaps all the time as well and don't worry gaps as long as the surge continues. Gaps are much less predictable on new volatile issues because of the excitement factor. Once a pattern is established and a traditional chart takes form they can be useful.

My post was more in line wth the question "do gaps always fill"...the reference was in my opinion not about new issues.

And you're right ITRU has one gap around 80 from the 4th to 5th...the stock was all of 7 days old...even still, bet it fills sometime. Would I wait to play it because of that? Nope.
