This results from a bug in the client/server interaction. We are aware of the problem and are working to fix it.

You can scroll back in the time and sales to go back farther in the past - something about that interaction works better than the chart data request. It has to do with the amount of ticks requested in the first request - T&S windows request much fewer records than a chart does. If you make that initial large request it causes something to happen that prevents successful scrolling.

If you make a really small chart with ticks in it so that only a few data points come up it might make it easier to scroll back in time.

Our server development team are working on this problem to correct it.
