That may be the best post I've ever read on SI. I printed it and stuck it on my bulletin board.

Vadym, you're a jewel. I bookmarked you the day you showed up here.

Only one complaint, can I be my own woman instead of my own man <G>?

HI VADYM!

Great post and a lot of my own problems expressed. You write about them in past tense while for me they are still reality. I'm guilty of the sin of predicting vs following and sometimes also don't really understand how following and being contrarian should work. I have read about it before and it rings very true but in the real world i'm confusing the two. Therefore i was trying to go short the last week and didn't really make money instead of buying almost anything(like my wife) and making a ton. I was trying to be contrarian but predicted a downturn that didn't come and didn't follow the market, didn't listening to it's message.
Question is if you have any tips how you developed a behavior of "following" the market and getting rid of the Bias that thinks it can predict. Any tips out of your own tool case? I'm battling this problem for some time now and i have the feeling that i'm stuck there. And although i learned a lot the last year this single problem is hurting me the most. I know it and still don't really know how to change it. Any suggestions?
And thanks for all the great posts about the "inner game of trading" of the month i'm following this thread!

Stefan
