Ole murph has the same problem as clinton, AK...he doesn't own a current copy of the calendar. (BC: Ushering in the great 21st century...yeah, right...president during the biggest public relations scam of all times...and Murphy's pinchered horn turning out to only being left with a used, empty condom 20 month old condom.)

Ted Butler was bitchin' about the gold leasing game, WHILE IT WAS STILL WORKING, over 3 years ago.

Three years ago, this motley crew that hangs out in these hallowed halls would have said "bill WHO?" ---with the who part busy chasing skirts, a washed up football has been, sucking up to veneroso who gave him a do nothing job out of pity which he ditched for his GADDA brainchild, still awaiting it's grand opening best as I can tell, and confessing to being a not-for-profit-except-for-profitting-murph's-presidential-ticket-nomination political party.

Any fool can spot a trend when it is over. Takes guts to call it in advance, and set the traps and wait patiently...like Butler did. And Butler's the seer, not the seared "end" for some washed up, dried up, blown away football team.

RE: your invitation several posts back to lay out my timetable for Y2K horrors alllllllmost got me...until I read the part where you wanted it for amusement and entertainment purposes post 12/31/00

You just DON'T get it do you. Not much funny about survival post CDC.

So, I won't rise to the bait. However, I will tell you two things for certain, and I don't know which will come first
1) The declared Bank Holiday which the white house disavowed just this week...
(from the same guy who brought you Staingate and Didn'tInhale's Navy)
2) The declaration of emergency where FEMA is put in charge, first declaring a broaddaylight curfew and then requiring registration of all citizens for everything from borrowing toenail clippers to rationbook issuance for gasoline and other "essential services."

I hope you memorize this short warning list, Dougie, because with the power out, you'll have one hell of a time reading it on your blank computer screen.

Seems to me that Mr. Butler by making the accusations shows that he has the conviction to stand up to very powerful people who will not be able to ignore what has been said about them. If wrong Mr. butler has committed a gross libel and would be accountable if they seek redress. If right maybe it will move matters closer to a head. should be an interesting few weeks coming up.

Doug,

PMs will jump after next April. When the idiot bullion dealers realize the most people will ride out the mythical tax loss season.....

We are now starting to see Clintonism unwind as the price of oil hit 29.00 per barrel on Friday. No one gave a "Rats Ass" about the threat to sell reserves!
