TP,

Is there any DRAM maker with new wafer starts to produce RDRAM?

Seems to me that they've all retooled to produce SDRAM which they can sell rather than RDRAM which they store as Inventory - Finished Goods. Something that a DRAM maker hates to do given its historic price decline of 30% / annum.
A rate which has been greatly exceeded for the past few years. i.e. - DRAM prices have been declining at a rate of about 70-90% in each of the last 3 years.

So even with those high royalty rates, they're being applied against a much smaller $ amount than the analysts had originally predicted.

I accept that one is entitled to hope. But to believe in RMBS, one has to believe the hype. And the hype just isn't going to happen.

FWIW,
Ian.
