Yes I agree SarkieBug..

I feel that only paying members should be able to view our profiles. Seems the past few weeks the e-mail address that is in my profile has started to receive a lot of e-mail spam..

And I hate e-mail spam

Sarkie,

<< Sending PM's should be a privilege of paid membership only >>

Never noticed that BUT I totally agree with you.

Registered users can view members' profiles. Registered users can also post in the Coffee Shop and build a profile. However, only StockTalk Members may post in StockTalk or send private messages.

If you are a registered user for SI (but not a StockTalk Member): When trying to send a PM, you should get a message (in red) that says "You must be a member of SI to send private messages"

Unregistered users can not view or build profiles.

Having a public e-mail address is a customizable option on SI siliconinvestor.com
