Wingman: You raise some good points. 1. Business furniture: I can readily agree with you that buying business furniture -- desks, bookcases, conference tables, etc. -- can be done by catalog and therefore over the net. I vigorously agree with you. But that wasn't my impression of what furniture.com was trying to do, either... 2. Broadband's impact. Yes, you're right. That could improve its prospects quite a bit. So, while I retain my skepticism, you've given me some good counter-balancing points to consider. Thanks to you -- and the others on this thread -- for that. Scarecrow
