We start promoting early and our Christmas rush has already begun.

Have you generated any revenue off your Web-site yet?

No in direct sales. We have coupons there for extra savings and a fair amount of people have printed them out and come into the stores. They prefer to see the merchandise prior to the purchase. The site has worked well for us as an inexpensive advertising medium.

I just hope the
rush is good for Wal-Mart, Gap, Gucci, and you.<vbg>


Thank you. I hope it is good for me too. I have additional expansion plans and will only do that via free cash flow from the business. I don't have the street feeding me money with funny junk bond cash that I can waste at will. Speaking of Wal-mart, I am moving the Meadville store adjacent to the super Wal-Mart in Meadville next spring.

Here is an interesting question that may become a major issue this year. I mentioned last year that the new rush of e-commerce might make it impossible for the carriers UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc. to make the deliveries on time. It was close according to my conversations with various employees at these firms as far as capacity in their trucks, planes, etc the final two weeks of the season. However, with pleanty of overtime, the firms managed to deliver (what a word for this one<G>) This year is clearly going to be far larger for e-commerce but most delivery firms ar not yet convinced that this is not a short term fad. They are reluctant to make major capital expenditures to buy additional trucks, plains, etc. Additional staff is not a problem and they are willing to pay lots of overtime. Let's say e-commerce is really large this year and the delivery firms cannot execute in time this year. What does that do to the future of e-commerce? Will that send many people the following year back to traditional shopping?
