But for the record, you should know that this thread is posted to in fits and spurts. For a wider readership you might try posting such a question to Tom's thread, the Systems thread. I'm quite certain it's more active on a regular basis and so would have more respondents to your inquiry.

Generally speaking? I look at PREM and TIKI. It's an esoteric evaluation of what I think is happening. One really has to watch both indicators for quite some time to get a flavor for the value of the indicator(s).

There is also a system I described to some extent in a series of Private Mails that was developed by a trader named George Angell. It involves quite a bit of formulae. Essentially it eliminates ranging days by determining breakout points. Rather than go into all of that, it's possible that it may be to your benefit to try to determine prior to the Open what price creates a move outside of the range so you can make a decision.

In other words, "don't trade it until it breaks the pattern of range-bound activity", if you so decide.
