It appears to me that the Merged TV/PC builders can design an excellent Internet/PC w/ TV feature W/O GMST IP and avoid royalties and harrassing the viewers w/ GMST's advertising.

I don't pretend to understand the technological issues. Remember, I'm only a carpetologist. Micrsoft did their deal with Gemstar to get it inside WebTV and Windows98 and later versions. There must have been a reason they did that, though I'll never appreciate the technological reasons.

As far as PC/TV hardware is concerned, it's nothing more than speculation to comment on that. Such hardware hasn't even gotten to the chasm yet.

Since both of us have copies of the Stephens Report, what issues in that report do you think are not defensible? If I gotta sell this stock, I need to know about it as soon as possible. :)
