Meg: If you have Qcharts you can click on "Bar" and get the range and volume for every day for the past month. (Lee)

meg,

I'm not quite sure what your looking for? But, this link gives you quarterly trailing earnings charts...all charts reflect past price action? Not sure what you mean by past performance?

I may not be able to give you an exact link taking you there because it's java driven....go to quote/chart and choose earnings chart.....this gives you the above quarterly chart.

>>>I thought it was on big charts, but I cant find it.<<<

it's still there...on the interactive chart open the box "upper indicators" and you'll see earnings. If you click it, it'll show on the chart.

Meg it is on big charts.. Here's how you do it.. Click on bigcharts.com. Click on "year chart" then where it has the list of "indicators" click on "Upper Indicator" (There are also lower indicators labelled #1, 2, and 3).. In the drop down menu click on "show earnings".. then save the chart format adding any lower indicators of your choice. When you see the little "E" in the triangle that's when earnings came out. So you can have a 'graphical' view of the results before, during and after..

For a better follow up.. Take the earnings date with a week before and after and track the stock backwards in a program such as "Qcharts".. looking at 10, 15, and 30 minute charts so you can 'zoom in' on the action on shorter term charts..

I would also look at quote.yahoo.com and check any 'news' coming out of the stock BEFORE its report (esp. upgrades, contracts) etc. with all this you will have a very good scenario of the stock and its activity at and around its earnings report.

I've been doing this for nearly 4 years and there's not many strategies and 'free sites' for earnings plays that I haven't tried.
