Dell restore stuff ...

When my laptop arrived, a copy of the hard disk files as shipped was placed at the physical end of my disk. The theory being that if (when) I made a mess of things, my system could be restored to the state it was on delivery. Obviously, a disk defrag would overwrite this area and render this 'feature' inoperable, as would stuffing my disk to capacity as well. Re-partitioning destroys this area too.

It looks like someone saw a need and supplied an answer.
