I have been doing just that for two years and the government has been happy to accept my tax money. They questioned my interest expense (used a mortgage on the house to invest) but when presented with a proper audit trail were happy.

TOM-ASE is running again. It's gone from .60 to $1.25 in the last week.
Originally, it was because China signed the WTO agreement. Now, the rumour is that their subsidiary is doing an IPO in Hong Kong at a value to the parent of $3.25 per share.

They make telecommunications equipment for China and have offices in Canada, Hong Kong and all the major Chinese cities.

I've been following it for a year and have an average price of .65.
