Exactly:

Alliances

and

Equity Investments (from like ORCL)

are money making ideas and insurances I believe.

It is so hard to keep up and know what is good and going to fly that when one hears ORCL is putting equity investment in a company like LBRT or Andreessen does the same in CFLO it makes one think this is a good idea (at least for a double). Same way if one has seen what happened with CMRC and GM or any other. It is I believe a great way to make money. It provides the "juice" for the move.

Now how do we find out these investments and alliances without being the last in line to know about it?

A.
