If I were a new subscriber to SI and came across the MDA thread, I'd be scared silly to put any money into this market - all because of the overwhelming bearishness of the frequent posters on this thread - and not investing in this market would be one of the biggest mistakes of the year:

1) Cash inflow drives up prices. Last week, we had record cash inflows
into mutual funds, for the month, and for the year:

2) We're just starting the most bullish 3 months of the most bullish 6 months of the year. Plus, we're going into a very bullish Presidential election year. If you have a Stock Traders Almanac, check it out:
hirschorganization.com

3) The Fed is not going to raise interest rates any more this year.

4) Y2K is likely to cause investors in other nations to dump their money into US markets.

5) Cycles you say? Well, check out the best cycle guy in the business, Walter Bressert (No market top until year 2001, at the earliest!)

OK, you bears, keep growling and scaring everyone out of the market. It will prove to be the "Wall of Worry" that all us bulls need to keep cash on the sidelines which will ultimately propel this market much higher.
