The direct attack on Rukeyser was penned by none other than Barrons writer Alan Abelson. The discussion of the attack on the radio invited listeners to call in with their view of the controversy. Free and open discussion of controversy is a very good subject for financial radio when the public TV denunciation of a Wall Street guru is involved. Would you enjoy being placed under a dunce cap and removed from a show on national television? Is that similar to calling Gail a dunce? Not very nice.
