General announcement: It's getting harder and harder to find the freeware Parity1.5 ap on the web. Here's a link from which to download it: e-analytics.com AOL has it in their software download area again. They had it once, dropped it and now it's back. PARITY is a sophisticated and powerful stock charting and technical analysis program.It includes more than 40 of the most widely used indicators and provides full support for complex user defined formulas up to 500 characters long. Parity's chart types include HLC Bar Chart, Japanese Candlesticks, 12 types of Point and Figure charts, Arms Equivolume charts, Crocker type charts, horizontal bar charts of days at price and volume at price, line charts and histograms. Each Chart can include up to 9 indicators and 11 panes. Panes can be stacked or overlaid and maintain independent scales. Multiple indicators can be plotted in a single pane. Charts can contain up to 8100 data points for each indicator.Two stocks can be in memory simultaneously permitting spread and relative strength charting. David,Thanks, but I think it might be hard for you engineers to see me here in the caboose.<gg> It may have been the one month of live trading on a direct access platform, or the trader training course requirement, but I think it was the little link to a box where someone would talk to me live that scared me off. Being unable to get to my computer until 2:45 in the afternoon, I place my trades in the evening. I just need a broker who will place the trade and execute fairly. Probably why I stayed with Waterhouse this long.
