Teledesic will probably never get off the ground. One key investor is putting $1.5 B into ICO which is nearly bankrupt. A chief complement to wireless is Globalstar(NAS GSTRF) but it is a bent pipe achitecture
which complements carriers on the ground in areas not covered by cells, 45% owned by Loral with ~6% owned by ATI(now VOD) and QCOM> I think AMT has no meaningful competion and am thinking of plunging in at this level myself( In interest of full disclosure I am long LOR,WCOM, GBLX)...
