Hi unclewest; Maybe you should find out what "VC133" is before you suggest that Dan3 is making a typo.

I would think that anyone at all interested in DRAM would be aware of the stuff, since it is now manufactured by three or four major DRAM houses.

What really just never fails to amaze me, is that so many people are willing to believe that they know enough about the memory industry to judge what will be used in it 3 years from now. And then they go out and buy the stock.

I want all the people holding this stock, and intending on continuing to hold it for the long term, that they were warned.

Re: your typo is interesting...

unclewest,

That was no typo, VC-133 is Virtual Channel 133. It is the currently shipping mainstream memory technology supported by VIA's, Micron's, SIS's, ALI's, and AMD's chipsets that have been released this quarter or are scheduled to be released in this quarter or next quarter.

If you were unaware of Virtual Channel technology, it's no wonder you made the error of thinking rambus had any liklihood of success.

DDR can be an acronym for many things, one of them is Double Data Rate memory - you ought to know about these things if you want to be involved with investing in memory technologies :-)

Regards,

Dan
