Idiots, morons, bashers, and worthless threads should be allowed to co-exist without censorship. Only in comparison of their 'creators', the posts themselves, can we fully appreciate threads such as the MDA thread, Cents and Sensibility, Daytrading Fundamentals, Trading in and Out for Profits, 56 points etc. Fortunately these 'control threads' seem to contain the same 'select group' whereupon they can easily be isolated. The choice offered in a censorship-free service gives you the opportunity to 'ignore' or read. Scientists have 'control' groups to show the efficacy of drugs, research etc. SI has their "moron" threads.. May they offer us a 'control' environment to better appreciate the fine threads. They offer an avenue for certain posters to express their 'individuality', 'character' and 'creativity' such that it is. As long as we can shrug them off like a late-night infomercial, they are completely harmless.
