I too agree with Geoff that the son will outperform the father. That was my point about holding companies trading at discounts. Regarding:

7. Finally, just got the news that the first batch of GEM listing companies has received overwhelming responses from investors....

I can confirm this from news reports I've read. I'll try to remember to post a link here.

When I made my last post, I was thinking that TOM was probably fully valued in the $1.00-1.50 range. I'm now optimistic that we have more upside.

I agree with the comments that TOM should have made better disclosure. Maybe they should have filed the subsidiary's prospectus on Sedar.

Steve, you wrote me Sunday night expressing concern about the apparent lack of bids showing on the ASE site, I am sure you are feeling much better now.

For your future reference, the ASE site is not being operated on a 7/24 basis. The bid and ask position you saw represents Friday's closing position including only the "Good until cancel" or "Good until ..(date).." orders. Any new orders placed to the various brokers throughout the weekend will not be shown on the ASE site until Monday. So don't lose sleep over this next time.

I'll post again later wrt your earlier concerns over insiders' options and your theory about house #2 trying to put a damper on things. I need to do a bit more DD before I post my responses.

Geoff
