mike, there are a few that i know of on SI
i don't know enough, though the delta concept is based on repetitive cycles, patterns and one area of focus happens to be the lunar cycle

i have studied the I CHING for over five years and there are some interesting parallel concepts

one of the most interesting for me is the 13 month lunar year 384 days
since we use 12 months year of ~365 days, it could affect the way we visually view patterns, cycles and their repetition

i am also looking at the work of WD Gann as it appears to me to be the third leg of a very interesting stool :)

I CHING uses a 'magic square' as a core part of it's structure, same as Gann, though Gann creates it like a (fib) spiral

more thinking and research is required on my part and i will post here when i find something worthwhile

regards,
ynot :)

I used it when it ran on an Apple ][ back in the early/mid eighties.

I still use a variation, but it's not Wilder's. Never was in the Delta Society however.

I would say that Delta or it's variations is not for everyone. It takes years just to get an idea of how to use it. Even then, the problem most will have with it are Inversions. Wilder gave people the impression that if a cycle did not work it could be excused by saying there was an inversion. Another reason why it's never been accepted by any large group of people.

But, it is based on Lunar cycles though. I had a book on it but just lent it out last Friday. So anything I say on it is purely from memory.
