Colleen The Holy Spirit will often lead you into persecution ! You can't say that all those who died for the faith were a little low on the spirit... Look at what Jesus said to those whom He was rejecting : Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: This is Jesus saying that He fully intends to send to these godless men who think they serve God His elect and beloved onesso that they will kill and crucify whip and persecute them.... Jesus is sending His loved ones to have this happen to them so that He can store up wrath against these godless men ! You do not know what God will call you to... it could be persecution How would you know ???
