You: used as a pronoun of the second person singular.
Person: an individual human being.

"Sure I can use you!" the elevator man said to George. "I will give you what you need for the job. You can start right away. But remember -- you are here for washing windows. Never mind what people in the house are doing. Don't be curious or you'll get into trouble.

From a successful "non-professional":

Not to beat a dead horse but aren't we confusing "professional" and "amateur" with successful and unsuccessful? Professional means you receives pay from another for your work but has nothing do do with whether you are successful or not. In fact, I would argue most "professional" managers are not successful, based on their inability to beat the S&P! Of course this should relegate them to unpaid "amateur" status if they do it long enough but most of them continue to retain their jobs. This is all you'll hear from me on this subject...let's get back to investing.
