HERMAN, ALEXIS & CO., INC. INITIATES COVERAGE OF AMERICAN CHAMPION
ENTERTAINMENT, INC.

LOS ANGELES, Nov 30, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Herman, Alexis &
Co., Inc., CRD number 36755, today announced it has initiated coverage
of American Champion Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACEI):

Herman, Alexis & Co., Los Angeles, said American Champion,
headquartered in San Jose, Calif., "is producing quality programming
for the fastest growing entertainment niches, a strength may not be
reflected in the stock's current price." American Champion
Entertainment is the creator, developer and producer of the Emmy-Award
winning children's show, Adventures With Kanga Roddy, which is aimed at
children three to eight. The program teaches youngsters to deal with
specific social issues.
Initiation of analyst coverage was predicated based on:

-- Football greats Joe Montana and Ronnie Lott are executive producers of
the show and their wives star on the program. This draws extra
interest and all four of these well-known people are strong public
advocates for quality children's programming that sets high standards
for its content and characters.

-- American Champion Entertainment has signed two licensing agreements
with U.S. toy producers to manufacture and market plush Kanga Roddy
toys. These will be sold, along with videos, T-shirts, watches and key
rings in retail stores and on the Company's new e-commerce Web site.

-- The Company has hired leading industry experts to direct its production
and licensing activities. It also has formed significant strategic
relationships with distribution companies, television broadcasters and
others to enhance the potentials of its projects.

-- The Company has opened its business into the vastly untapped Chinese
market with its intended acquisition of the Great Wall International
Sports Media Company of Beijing.

"We believe that the Company's management team has demonstrated its
willingness to reach far and beyond the U.S. domestic market," Herman,
Alexis & Co. said. "We believe American Champion Entertainment deserves
to be followed closely as this young company progresses."
