Also, if one is to believe the SSB report on FLC which was posted here last week (link below), day rates are already trending upward at a pretty nice clip, even at these utilization levels. That makes sense. We have heard on this thread anecdotal evidence of the difficulty in recruiting rig workers. If there aren't enough workers to man all the rigs currently on the sideline, then the effective utilization rate is already much higher than analysts might assume. And it is the effective utilization rate which should drive day rates. Message 11950092
