The digital film product from IRSN's Silicon Film division is an incredible idea, and one I've been waiting for. It should be a breakthrough product.

The product is a digital film cartridge for certain 35mm SLRs. (Currently, Canon EOS 1N, Canon EOS A2/5; Nikon F-5, Nikon N-90/F90, Nikon F-3.)

Priced at about $800, it looks like it's aimed at the low end of the professional market (you're probably talking in the $2000 range with the camera), so it may or may not be a block-buster for IRSN. With time, though, I'm sure the price will come down to the point where it could be a popular item for amateur protographers who have 35mm SLRs.

Once the product launches, which is imminent, and the strategic OEMs are announced, this stock could really explode. It's a STRONG BUY on technicals alone.
