Franq. On Future PC/TV hardware. Market segmentation will always be here. We will always have the $69.95 K-mart bare bones TV. In the upper end, I think you have to assume the screen (flat screen hanging on wall) will increasingly be separate from the box holding CPU/tuner/memory.hard drive etc. Thus I call it a comverged Info appliance. In this scenerio, GMST moght be strong in the lower end and weak in the high end.

Have to conclude that GMST can make some money B4 technology overtakes and bypasses them.

I do realize that this is all a very hypothetical projection and Mr. Market always has a few supprised along the way.

anyone else watch cnbc this am..they had the ceo of liberate..the company sounded very interesting and was wondering if any of you g&k hunters have researched( hunted) it..sue (they also get royalties when companies use their technologies and its definetly a growing business..) here's some imfo from the thread.........
