To your question: AOL may or may not have this 'problem' - (good choice or words). What is clear is that AOL doesn't have John Malone - who is - I think it fair to say - a fan of tracking stocks.

If there is a downside to this, it's that once the tracking stock is established, I understand it takes them out of play for 3 years. So, if there is truth to the AOL rumor, (my very humble opinion only), then either AOL walks away or they are forced to move before the tracking stock becomes real...
