J.T., there's a simple explanation for that...the Fed did yet another coupon pass. the market went up immediately thereafter. note that European stock markets turned sharply lower today. they seemed rattled by the oil price spike and sinking bonds. Wall Street is in a mania phase where absolutely nothing seems able to shake confidence. it's like the stock market was a closed system that works independently from what's going on around it. incredible, but likely to lead to some kind of surprising and violent adjustment.
